Bicycle Helmets

POSTED BY Maryland Brain Injury Lawyer on Mar 31 under Brain Injury

I used to ride every weekend with the potomac peddlers. everyone i knew wore a helmet. Not to ride with a helmet is incredibly stupid. However, even if a helmet is worn it is NOT the “guarantee” one hopes forĀ in preventing a brain injury. Helmets in the early days had defects. Todays helmets are created and designed much better so that if one falls a helmet will allow for a crack to occur and the helmet to skid thus preventing a right angle type injury as the force moves you in one direction while the impact in another.
